Job Details Maydan, one of DC's premiere restaurants, is in search of an energetic professional who has an excellent track record in hospitality and who thrives in a fast-paced service environment. Our focus is genuine hospitality. Maydan is seeking a host/hostess/maitre d to join us in guiding guests on culinary journeys.

We are an eclectic group of hard-working individuals with commitment and passion for what we do. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, communicative, enthusiastic, and enjoys the challenge of being part of an award-winning team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences. We are looking for professionals with an equivocal work ethic and just enough funk.

Working Hours:
- 4:30pm - 11pm

Responsibilities:
- Able to communicate clearly in and possess a good command of verbal and written English
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guests needs and requirements
- A genuine passion for hospitality
- Exceptional communication and presentational skills
- Must be able to help resolve problems with manager assistance
- Fine dining experience preferred
- Extensive experience in a high-volume restaurant atmosphere
- Willingness to learn and be an integral part of an exciting environment
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour plus tips Compensation Details
