Job DetailsAs a barback at this classic Chicago steakhouse, you will play a vital role in supporting our bartending team to deliver exceptional service and create an outstanding experience for our guests. Your attention to detail and dedication to maintaining a polished bar environment will contribute to the overall quality of our dining experience. The barback assists the bartenders where needed and maintains a clean and tidy bar by performing the following duties, other duties may be assigned:
- Support bartenders by preparing and restocking ingredients, garnishes, and glassware, ensuring they have everything needed to serve guests efficiently.
- Keeps the bar area clean in accordance with the companys guidelines as well as the requirements of our local health department regulations.
- Help bartenders with serving drinks and food to tables, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies regarding alcohol service and sanitation.
- Welcomes customers, reads and listens to people to determine beverage preferences, makes recommendations, and takes drink orders.
- Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and other staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience.
- Monitor and restock bar inventory, including alcohol, mixers, and supplies.
- Adheres to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Must follow all closing procedures/opening procedures for the bar area
Compensation: Hourly ($16.60) plus tips
