Cafeteria Worker

Serve breakfast and lunch daily to children in grades K-4- Maintain accurate records and meal counts- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and as directed- Follow strict food safety, allergen, nutrition, and portion control guidelines- Manage kitchen inventory (food and supplies) and coordinate with GMS Lead on orders- Handle money accurately and cash out students and adults as needed- Any other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Leads or the Food Service DirectorHours: Monday - Friday 6am-2:00pmSalary: As per negotiated contract starting at $16.72/hour

Job Requirements
Qualifications:- High School Diploma- Ability to work independently without constant supervision- ServeSafe certified, or be able to pass the exam within one year- Ability to operate a POS cash register system accurately- Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds using proper lifting- Such reasonable alternatives as deemed acceptable
