Job Details A private club, located on North Shores Lakefront near Evanston is seeking SERVICE STAFF A La Carte Food Runner. Experience is preferred. We offer an hourly pay rate (No Tips) and a quality, pleasant, team oriented work environment. This position requires working on nights, weekends, and some holidays given the nature of the business.

Responsibilities

• Set up runner stations, including some areas in the kitchen.
• Follow up the daily tasks listed on the day-to-day runner checking lists.
• Maintains complete knowledge of table and seat numbers
• Maintains complete knowledge of all menus, including ingredients
• Maintains knowledge of dietary restrictions, or other special instructions
• Assist in bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
• Deliver dishes to the dining room
• Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient delivery of food orders
• Takes direction from Chefs, Expo, and dining room team

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous restaurant experience required
• Maintain a ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $19.00)
