Janitor

Pay rate $17-$18

Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Job Functions:

1) Performscustodial duties consisting of sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, strippingand waxing floors, window cleaning, trash disposal, and daily cleaning ofrestrooms and break areas. Maintains inventory of janitorial and landscapingsupplies in a neat and orderly manner. Prepares District assembly andconference rooms for meetings and training classes as needed.

2) Maintains the grounds around eachfacility free from trash, litter and debris. Keep entry ways swept clean andassure safe entry and egress to the buildings. Performs minor landscapingduties around each facility to maintain a clean and neat appearance. Notifiesmanagement of needed repairs to facilities.

3) Coordinates recycling activities bysorting items for recycling, arranging for pickup and or delivery and trackingyearly quantities. Assist office manager with maintaining file storage buildingand disposing of files that exceed retention requirements.
