Hello!
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to support our Night Baker by packing wholesale orders and washing sheet pans.
Open since 2014, we re a small but growing neighborhood bakery on SE Hawthorne Blvd with a loyal following across Portland! We're in a period of exciting growth and would love to wee someone who s ready to jump in and be part of our fun, hardworking crew.
This is an overnight position, with shifts typically running from 10 PM to 4 AM.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in amercial kitchen or food service setting is a plus, but not required we're happy to train the right person!
Strong attention to detail orders need to be packed accurately and consistently
Comfortable working overnight hours and able to stay focused during quiet, solo periods
A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in w needed
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift
A current OR food handler s card (or willingness to get one upon hire)
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Packing baked goods for our wholesale accounts
Labeling,anizing, and preparing deliveries for the next day
Washing and sanitizing sheet pans and other baking equipment
Supporting the night baker with miscellaneous cleaning tasks as needed
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS, AND FEATURES OF THE POSITION:
Competitive pay based on experience
Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits after a 30-day eligibility period (for full-time and some part-time positions, depending on hours worked)
40 hours paid vacation (begins accruing at one year of employment)
