West Branch Schools is accepting applications for 2025-26 school year for the opening:

Full-time Custodian

We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Perform custodial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and dusting

- Maintain and clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming

- Handle trash removal and ensure proper disposal

- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies

- Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed

- Monitor and report any repairs or replacements needed

- Follow safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in custodial or related roles preferred

- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and procedures

- Ability to perform floor care tasks including buffing and waxing

- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean environment

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
