Lead Airport Cleaner at Marsden

Shift :
Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
40 hours per week

Location : Avenue B E, Cloquet, MN

Description :
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Cleaner to join our team at a busy airport. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising and training a team of six cleaners while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Requirements

• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Experience operating floor scrubbers and carpet extractors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a Homeland Security background check (includes fingerprinting)
• Must be dependable, personable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  
• Able to move at a fast pace
• For safety reasons, you must be able to speak basic English
• You must be 18 years old
• Able to lift up to 30lbs

Job Duties:

• Train and oversee cleaning staff in all aspects of facility cleaning
• Communicate with airport contacts regarding supplies, concerns, and operational updates
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with the public
• Perform cleaning duties including:
  • Restroom sanitation
  • Trash removal
  • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
  • Glass cleaning
• Operate specialized equipment:
  • Riding auto scrubber
  • Carpet extractor
