Associate - Support Services Housekeeping

Job Summary: Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within healthcare facilities across the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical housekeeping and linen services with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
  • Perform tasks such as dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, linen changes, and replenishing room supplies.
  • Conduct project cleaning of walls, windows, carpets, furniture, blinds, and curtains as assigned.
  • Deliver supplies, including pharmaceuticals and medical records, to satellite locations within the regional network.
  • Manage linen processing duties: sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.
  • Inspect surgical linens for defects, perform necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned equipment and report any needed repairs promptly.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations, including confidentiality and emergency preparedness.
  • Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, communicate effectively, and take initiative to support departmental goals.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or support services is advantageous but not required.
Additional Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work varied days Monday through Friday, including holiday rotations.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts (3:00 AM to 11:00 AM).
