Key Responsibilities:- Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and other designated spaces, including dusting, sanitizing, and waste removal.
- Manage linen processing tasks such as sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.
- Inspect surgical linens for defects and perform necessary maintenance like mending or stamping.
- Deliver supplies and medical records to satellite locations as needed.
- Maintain assigned equipment and promptly report any repair needs.
- Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions.
- Adhere to legal, regulatory, and confidentiality standards to protect patients and staff.
- Support teamwork by collaborating effectively with peers and supervisors, taking initiative to complete tasks, and assisting others to improve overall service quality.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully, keeping the team informed and engaged.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, and maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all relevant policies including infection control, emergency preparedness, and hazardous materials handling.
