Now Hiring: Server
Location: BigShots Golf, Fort Worth
Essential Responsibilities:
• Welcomes guests immediately upon seating.
• Using acquired menu item knowledge, offers menu suggestions, answers questions, and anticipates guests’ needs.
• Responsible for knowledge of the BigShots Gaming Software including simple troubleshooting steps to help guests get set-up or get through any issues that arise.
• Knows liquor liability laws, takes steps to visually assure that age identification is legitimate and practices responsible beverage service with all guests.
• Takes guest drink and food orders; enters drink and food orders on POS register and ensures food/drink items meet guests’ satisfaction.
• Lifts small and large trays (in accordance with brand standard), carrying as many entrees/drinks as physically able, garnishes and serves food/drink items for guests and other servers’ guests.
• Attends to any additional guest needs/requests.
• Prepares non-mixed drinks, soups and salads.
• Prepares, presents, and receives payment for guests’ checks.
• Busses and resets tables in accordance with brand standards
• Maintains guests’ needs throughout their dining experience by removing flatware, dishes, trash, and refilling beverages.
• Unloads dishes in dish room and/or at bar dishwasher.
• Sweeps floor area around table, as needed.
• Maintains service stations, expo line, service bar, and common areas of restaurant.
• Restocks service station with glasses, tea, ice, water, and appetizer plates.
• Restocks expo line, fills condiments, washes server trays, sorts silverware, prepares roll-ups, cleans mirrors and artifacts and sweeps and mops floor.
• Must be comfortable with the use of sanitizing cleaning chemicals, coffee machines, iced tea machine, POS equipment, and soda fountains.
• Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy

Hours:
• Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education & Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must be of age to serve alcoholic beverages and able to obtain liquor card if state law requires.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
• Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
• May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
Physical Activity of the Position:
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
