RECEPTIONIST

Schedule: 9am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, 9am - 2pm Friday
Salary: $21.00
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for visitors and callers while supporting the day-to-day operations of the office. This position requires a professional who is organized, approachable, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency. The Receptionist will not only manage the front desk but also provide vital administrative support across departments, contributing to the overall success and smooth operation of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all incoming individuals and direct them to the appropriate party or location.
- Answer and screen all incoming calls; route calls to the appropriate party and/or take accurate messages.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate person or department.
- Provide support services to accounting, sales, and customer service.
- Collect and upload expense receipts.
- Process customer credit card payments in person and over the phone.
- Create/update customer accounts.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Related Experience:
- Experience working in an office environment preferred, but not required
Required Competencies:
- Friendly and approachable attitude
- Professional, courteous, and customer-service oriented
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Data entry knowledge

Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers
- Occasional walking, bending, or reaching as needed
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
