RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for making sure cold food is presented nicely and all equipment is clean
Responsible for helping guests with their coats on arrival
Responsible for reading BEOs and understanding what is required
Responsible for understanding the different menu (food) options and which items go with which foods
Responsible for working with the kitchen expo to get hot food on time
Responsible for clearing all plates and dirty dishes and buss to proper location
Responsible for keeping work area clean throughout the entire event
Responsible for ensuring cart is kept clean and out of the way of guests
Responsible for making sure all liquor is secured
Responsible for ensuring all cold and hot food are delivered on time
Responsible for entering orders into POS system accurately
Responsible for good working knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Responsible for Providing a high level of service to guests
Responsible for understanding of different menus in order to upsell and answer any questions guests may have.
Responsible for maintaining a positive and helpful demeanour in all staff interactions
Responsible for checking I.D of guest in adherence with the stadium and company policies and procedures
Responsible for monitoring guests alcohol levels to ensure the safety of each individual
Responsible for doing a last call if required
Responsible for clean-up post event
Responsible for removing garbage and dispose in proper receptacles
Other duties as required
Pre Requisites:
Must have a minimum five year banquet or fine dinning serving experience
Must have Serving it Right Certification
Must have extensive knowledge of wines and pairing of wines
Must be able to carry large banquet trays
Must be able to serve plated services
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Must have general working knowledge of banquet setup and operations
Must be able to work in different roles (in seat , catering ,bussing, expo)
Must have experience in handling cash procedures including opening and closing and balancing a float
Must be able to work well in a team environment
Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
Must be available to work all mandatory events
