Catering Bartender

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for setting up both portable and stationary bars prior to event
Responsible for accurately entering items into P.O.S system
Responsible for clean-up of bars post event
Responsible for verify opening and closing inventory
Responsible for good working knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Responsible for providing a high level of service to guests
Responsible for understanding the different beverage options in order to upsell and answer any questions guests may have.
Responsible for personally signing in and out before and after every event
Responsible for checking all I.D and following all alcohol policies and procedures are being followed
Responsible for documenting any transfers in/out/spoilage
Responsible for maintain adequate stock levels at all times
Responsible for proper portion control
Responsible for knowing when to cut someone off
Responsible for handling high stress situations in an appropriate manner
Responsible for removing garbage and disposing off in proper receptacles
Other duties as required

Pre - Requisites:

Must have a minimum 2 years bartending experience in a high volume bar
Must have Serving it Right
Must have extensive knowledge of wines
Must be able to cut lemons and limes for garnish of drinks
Must be able to make mixed drinks
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to work in excessive noisy areas
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions(very hot or cold)
Must have previous experience working with a P.O.S system
Must be able to be mobile and keep up in a fast paced environment and be able to manoeuvre quickly among the different areas of the stadium
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral
Must be able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to weekends , mornings, evenings , holidays and overnights
Must be able to work all high impact events
