Groundskeeper Jobs in New Mexico
A Groundskeeper in the hospitality service industry is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces at hospitality establishments like resorts, hotels, and golf courses. Important skills for a Groundskeeper in the hospitality service industry include physical stamina, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of horticulture. Some Groundskeeper positions may require specific certifications such as a pesticide applicator's license or a Certified Grounds Technician (CGT) credential. Prior to becoming a Groundskeeper, a person may hold roles such as a Landscaping Laborer, Maintenance Worker, or Janitorial Staff, where they would gain experience in outdoor maintenance and develop skills necessary for the Groundskeeper role.
