Often, the Night Auditor is the primary point of contact for guests during the overnight hours, handling check-ins, check-outs, and addressing any issues or requests. As such, they not only need to have strong mathematical and problem-solving skills, but also excellent customer service skills.
Before becoming a Night Auditor, a person may have roles such as Front Desk Agent, Guest Service Representative, or Hotel Clerk, which gives them the experience and exposure to the functions of the front desk and guest relations.
