Xiquet by Danny Lledo, Washington D.C. 's Michelin-starred destination for fine Valencian cuisine, is seeking a talented and passionate Host to join our acclaimed team. We pride ourselves on offering an unparalleled dining experience, showcasing traditional Spanish dishes with modern innovation. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, setting the tone for their dining experience
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow throughout service
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the menu and restaurant offerings to assist with guest inquiries
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and accurate wait times
- Assist with guest requests and accommodate special needs with tact and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host area
- Contribute to a high standard of guest satisfaction by ensuring attention to detail in all areas of service

Qualifications:
- Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- A warm and inviting demeanor with a professional appearance
- Familiarity with reservation platforms (experience with OpenTable preferred)
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $25.00)
