It's an upscale, full-service restaurant that offers fun luxury, elements of surprise, and the comfort of nostalgia. The atmosphere and vibe is elegant and confident yet relaxed. The restaurant is in the Presidio National Park, on the South Western corner of the Main Parade Lawn in the Presidio in a corner location.

We built Dalida on the hospitality, culture, fresh ingredients and familiar flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean. Our food is best enjoyed shared across the table. The legacy of Istanbul, once Constantinople, is greater than meets the eye. It's the palace and the countryside, the business and cultural capital. It's a little Turkish, a little Greek, Armenian, Jewish, Arabic and Persian. From the Eastern-most to the Western-most point of the Western world, we tell a story of an Istanbul that could have been, a story of the Eastern Mediterranean that manifests itself in San Francisco, a city also built on seven hills, one that welcomes, empowers and celebrates all that want to be here.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Chefs and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Positive attitude and team mentality
- Must possess a strong willingness to learn and ability to work independently
- Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions
- Ensure proper food storage, quality and presentation standards, including temperature controls
- Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites as needed
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools, utensils, equipment
- Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- Multitask calmly and effectively under pressure
- Work in a confined, crowded space of variable light, noise and temperature levels
- Move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
- Model and promote teamwork across all teams

- Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages
- Actively practice food safety procedures

Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $85,000.00)
