Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulics, basic electricity, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance on a wide variety of machines. This role involves hands-on equipment repair, troubleshooting, and collaboration with other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are essential for success in this role.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Physical requirements include the ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks involving standing, bending, crouching, and climbing multiple times per day.
• Good physical condition and agility are necessary for performing job duties.
• strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble equipment using tools such as wrenches to repair or replace necessary parts.
• Test and assess damaged machine components to determine if major repairs are needed.
• Apply knowledge of hydraulics and basic electrical systems in repair tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Work closely with other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand machine functions and repair procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
