• PLEASE NOTE: THIS RECRUITMENT IS FOR SUBSTITUTE/LIMITED TERM CUSTODIAL POSITIONS. -THIS POSITION DOES NOT INCLUDE BENEFITS, AS IT IS A SUBSTITUTE/LIMITED TERM POSITION* -Applications will be evaluated for minimum qualifications based on training and experience. -Those candidates who meet minimum qualifications and pass the Poway Unified School District's Custodian written examination will be invited to begin processing to be placed on a list for the purpose of limited term (substitute) processing. -Placement on the limited term (substitute) list does not qualify candidates for consideration for contracted positions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Supplemental Information KNOWLEDGE OF: Modern cleaning methods including basic methods of cleaning floors, carpets, furniture, walls and fixtures. Appropriate safety precautions and procedures. Operation of assigned custodial equipment. ABILITY TO: Learn the schedules, procedures and use of equipment and supplies used in custodial work. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Maintain buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Move and arrange furniture and equipment. Work cooperatively with others. Operate assigned custodial equipment. Observe health and safety regulations. Learn basic record-keeping techniques.
