Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Location: Compton, CA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $20 - $21 per hour Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Job Overview: We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team in Compton. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also supporting daily office operations with strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent customer service and communication are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct incoming calls, take messages, and manage front desk email correspondence Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front office area Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supplies Assist with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and calendar management Support other departments with clerical duties as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of front desk or administrative support experience preferred Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail Opportunity: This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth.
