Job Title: Bartender

Reports To : General Manager/Manager on Duty

Supervisory Responsibilities : This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Our bartenders provide excellent customer service to Wicked Weed Brewpub guests throughout their visit and completes monetary transaction - takes in money and makes change as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets customers at bar
• Informs customers of food & bev specials
• Extensive craft beer and cocktail knowledge.
• Takes customers orders
• Puts orders into point of sales system
• Makes sure guests are satisfied with all aspects of experience, checking back frequently to be sure they do not need anything
• Performs opening/closing bartending duties
• Retrieves payment and makes change as needed in cash transactions
• Keeps bar tidy
• Opens bar for lunch service.
• Breaks down bar at the end of the night
• Leaves bar clean and ready for the next shift at end of shift
• May be asked to train new hires
• Properly pours beers to company guidelines.
• Changes kegs
• Mixes and serves alcoholic beverages accurately.
• Lifts kegs

• You must be at least 21 years of age

Work Environment:

• Rapid changing flow of business
• That of a busy taproom with inside and outside service.
• Nights and weekends possible.
• Fast-paced
• The employee frequently must work in an environment with a moderate to high noise level.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time standing and/or walking. Walking surfaces may be wet and/or slippery.
• Ability to frequently talk and hear.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs. safely and with proper body mechanics.
• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times a shift.
