Cashier/Packer Position Available

Cashier/Packer (Williamsburg, Brooklyn)

We are looking for hardworking individuals to join our team in Williamsburg. Our Japanese restaurant is only two-minute walk from L train Bedford Station. We have been in business for over 15 years and looking for energetic people to join our team as Cashier/Packer and Food Runner/Busser. Employees with great attitudes and competitive work ethic will have the opportunity to grow in our expanding company.

Requirements but not limited to:

~ Cashier/Packer ~

* Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience, Japanese cuisine knowledge is a plus

* Good communication skills, ability to work any day of the week and any time of the day

* Ability to take customer orders in person and by phone, organized and can pack multiple deliveries, send orders out in a fast paced environment

* Has great phone etiquette, customer service, polite and presentable

* Committed to work, is passionate and a great team player

* Prompt, reliable, straightforward, smart and willing to learn

* Experienced in using POS systems

* Ability to provide an attentive and fine service in a high volume setting and effectively with sense of urgency

* Be able to communicate gracefully and efficiently to the guests and co-workers

* Consistently maintain service standards, daily side work and set-up

* Team player with positive attitude
