We provide full training on our service standards and TheGroton Inn experience.* As a Bartender and Banquet Bartender, you willsupport both restaurant and event operations. This role involvespreparing and serving drinks, setting up and breaking down bar stationsfor events, and ensuring exceptional guest service at all times. Youwill work closely with our Banquet and Restaurant Managers, culinaryteams, and fellow service professionals. **Key Responsibilities:**-Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, professional service -Prepareand serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance withrecipes and guest preferences -Maintain a clean, organized, and fullystocked bar throughout service -Assist with banquet bar setup,execution, and breakdown as outlined in Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)-Follow proper service techniques and responsible alcohol servicepolicies -Engage with guests, answer questions about offerings, andsuggest pairings or upsells when appropriate -Communicate clearly withkitchen and event staff to ensure seamless service -Address guestconcerns promptly and professionally -Accurately handle payments, tips,and POS operations -Complete side duties including cleaning, restocking,and equipment maintenance -Maintain compliance with health and safetystandards, including allergy and sanitation awareness -Support bothForge & Vine service and The Groton Inn event operations as needed**Qualifications:** -Must be eligible to work in the U.S. -Prior foodand beverage or bar experience preferred -Ability to communicate clearlyand professionally in English -Comfortable working in a fast-paced,team-oriented environment -Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand forextended periods, and perform repetitive tasks -Strong listening,observational, and interpersonal skills -Knowledge of common allergensand cross-contamination concerns (training provided) -Must be availableto work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays This is a greatopportunity to grow with a dynamic hospitality team where no two daysare the same.
