Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pasta Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Italian cuisine, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values consistency, collaboration, and excellence. The Pasta Cook will be responsible for executing pasta dishes with precision and care, contributing to the overall success and vision of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of handmade and extruded pasta dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards

  • Work cleanly, efficiently, and with attention to detail during prep and service

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of pasta textures, sauces, cooking times, and plating

  • Collaborate with the culinary team on new pasta builds and ongoing seasonal development

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Participate in daily line checks, tastings, and kitchen walkthroughs

  • Communicate effectively with the team and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure

  • Support inventory, ordering, and mise en place as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 23 years of experience in a professional kitchen with a focus on pasta or Italian cuisine

  • Strong knife skills and proficiency in working with fresh and dried pastas, sauces, and garnishes

  • Ability to follow recipes and plating standards with consistency

  • Passion for food, technique, and learning in a collaborative environment

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Must be punctual, dependable, and take pride in your craft

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $26.00)
