As bartender for Heritage Restaurant & Pizza Bar, you will work closely with the FOH team on all aspects of the bar operations, including bar counter service. Your communication skills, attention to details and proactivity will be the keys to run the bar operations successfully.
The bartender will be assisting in multiple areas of the bar beverage program, including execution of the spirit and craft cocktails program, wine and soft service, bar counter service and cash handling.
While on shift, you will ensure optimum performance while maintaining the highest level of service and cleanliness across the bar area.

Qualifications

- Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurants trading area.
- 3 years of bartending experience required.
- Knowledge of service and food and beverage environment.
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
- History of effective collaboration and communication in working with managers, service, and culinary staff.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with managing inventory and cost control.
- Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
- Ability to lift up to 30lb
Responsibilities
- Encourage and assist the service team in engaging each guest with Heritage cocktails and wine program.
- Implement a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork behind the bar.
- Ensure consistency through each drink served to the guests.
- Ensure each order is delivered in timely fashion. If any delay occurs, alert management immediately so they can intervene and help.
- Ensure drink and food menus has been presented at all bar guests, help making recommendations and answering questions regarding beverages and food program.
- Ensure each beverage orders from guests and service staff have been taken care of.
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $700
