OpenTable and previous experience required. Hosts and hostesses are responsible for: -Greeting and thanking guests -Check reservations and adjust table numbers as needed for successful service. -Check all menus for cleanliness and accuracy. -Assist in maintaining cleanliness and setting of tables. -Answer the telephone, and give directions to restaurant. -Answer reservation questions and modifications via text system and phone. -Maintain waiting list, select table and escort guests to the table. -Resolve guest problems whenever possible and communicate concerns to servers and owner -Answer questions regarding menu items. - Assist busser and servers to clear and set tables, Take beverage order and serve drinks when necessary to maintain smooth operations at peak periods.
