Job Description
A Host/Hostess plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression, upon arrival warmly and promptly welcoming all guests as well as delivering a friendly departure. They will coordinate customer check in with servers and by sections to ensure efficient seating for party sizes + requests, manage phone calls/reservations/ to-go orders and assist with customer inquiries. Our Host Team will work directly with the Managers on duty to maintain the front entryway areas, oversee coat check services, monitor table times + turnover performance, logged checks for bathroom cleanliness and provide great overall interactions to all our customers.
Requirements + Certifications:
- Be on time, ready to work
- Positive team player mentality
- Maintaining standards + R.A.M.P and/or ServSafe Certified
Qualifications:
- Requires strong communication skills and proficiency in written and spoken English. Familiarity with our restaurant's mission, software, menu details, and venue layout is essential.
- Willingness to stand for long periods of time
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Scheduling:
- Involves constant public contact. Work environment is subject to varying levels of high energy, loud noise, crowds and pace, which depends upon guest volume.
- Work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays , Work may be performed in small areas, inside or outside throughout the year, varying conditions of temperature, lighting and air quality.
