Host/Hostess - Roca & Martillo Restaurant

Legends at The Rock at La Cantera is seeking to fill immediate Host/Hostess positions at the Roca & Martillo Restaurant.

The Role:
The Host/Hostess greets customers, takes and confirms reservations, and shows guests to their seats.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a timely, efficient and professional manner.
• Take reservations and place customers on the waiting list.
• Escort guests to tables, while keeping table rotation in mind.
• Assist various restaurant staff when necessary.
• Provide guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations.
• Answer phone calls, update reservations, and answer restaurant related questions.
• Set up and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
• Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties.

Qualifications:

• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Must have Food Handler's certification.
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Experience working in a restaurant preferred, with basic computer skills.
