**General Job Requirements**: Lead and support the line during service, ensuring consistency, speed, and quality. Assist in training and mentoring junior cooks. Collaborate with the Chef/Owner on menu execution, specials, prep lists, and service flow. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety. Help manage inventory, ordering, and prep systems. Be a team player and help create a positive, respectful kitchen culture. Be able to lift 50# Be able to be on feet for 8 hours at a time 2+ years of experience as a line cook in a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen. Experience with or readiness for leadership and mentoring roles. Strong knife skills and solid knowledge of cooking techniques. Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example. Reliable, punctual, and committed to hospitality. A passion for food, a good sense of urgency, and a desire to grow. Experience with scratch cooking, seasonal ingredients, or a particular cuisine. Food Safety Certification. Previous sous chef experience is a plus but not required.
