JOB SUMMARY

Little Mountain is looking for an exceptional Maitre d to create a welcoming, polished, and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure. As the face of the restaurant, the Maitre d will oversee guest relations, reservations, and team coordination, ensuring that every interaction embodies our commitment to hospitality and excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage the reservation system, optimizing table assignments and flow to balance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Greet each guest warmly, maintaining a poised and professional demeanor to set the tone for their dining experience.
  • Build relationships with regular guests and VIPs, noting preferences to ensure personalized service.
  • Lead pre-shift meetings with the host and service teams to review the evenings reservations, guest notes, and service goals.
  • Handle special requests, including dietary restrictions, seating preferences, and private celebrations, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Act as a liaison between Dining Room and BOH teams, communicating effectively to resolve any issues during service.
  • Oversee the host team, providing guidance and training to uphold the restaurants standards of service and hospitality.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Monitor the dining room throughout service, ensuring tables are properly reset, guests are satisfied, and team members are supported.
  • Assist in coordinating private events and special services, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Support additional Dining Room projects as needed.
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $24.00) plus tips
