Private practice is seeking a front desk receptionist. The ability to handle a busy workload, as well as, phone handling and etiquette are a must. We are a professional, patient centered practice providing quality care to our community.
Applicant should be a team player who is organized, friendly, professional, hard-working, and dependable. Excellent patient care skills are necessary. Applicant should be able to easily integrate into a team environment but also complete assignments independently with the willingness to learn new items. This is a full - time position, requiring availability for opening and closing times.
Brief description of duties: Initial primary duties will include scheduling; check in and check out; answering phones and duties associated with new and existing patients; performs eligibility and benefit checks and obtains authorizations from insurance carriers; Responsibilities may eventually include gathering patient medical history, conducting diagnostic testing, sterilizing instruments, explaining insurance benefits to patients.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience preferred, but not necessary for the right person
Salary based on experience and knowledge
**Spanish Bilingual a plus!!**
