Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Leads, oversees, and trains a small group of Custodians in the performance of routine custodial duties and basic maintenance and repair of related University facilities and equipment.
- Assumes responsibility for a building, a group of buildings, or a campus sector.
- Maintains inventories, work orders and other written forms.
- Performs all duties of a Custodian as required.

- Two (2) years of experience in custodial work.
- Valid driver's license and two years of driving experience.
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
- Two years of driving experience, and to successfully complete the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course.
- Two years experience in custodial work.
- Must be able to read floor plans and operate equipment to set up bleachers.
- Must be able to operate hydraulic basketball backstop.
- Clean Driving Record.
