Hostess/ Host Mias Bakery (Upper East Side)

Mias Bakery is looking for a friendly, polished, and reliable Hostess to join our front-of-house team. Were a fast-paced, high-volume bakery and cafe known for our custom cakes, desserts, and exceptional service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment and can remain calm and organized under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process

Answer basic customer questions and guide them to the correct service line (table service, takeout, or online pickup)

Manage the waitlist during busy periods and communicate estimated wait times

Keep the entrance and host station clean and organized

Communicate with servers, baristas, and managers to ensure smooth service flow

Occasionally assist with to-go orders or help run food during peak times

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly and professional demeanor

Must be punctual, dependable, and comfortable multitasking

Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred

Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Details:

Part-time and full-time positions available

Shifts typically range between 7AM10PM depending on the location

Competitive hourly pay based on experience
