Are you passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences from the moment someone walks through the door? Were looking for a warm, energetic, and detail-oriented Host to join our team at Paradiso.
As a Host, youll be the first and last impression for every guestgreeting each person with a genuine smile, managing reservations through OpenTable, and helping ensure smooth service throughout the restaurant.
What You'll Do:
Welcome guests warmly with a smile, manage waitlists, and say a sincere farewell as they leave.
Manage reservations and seating flow using OpenTable to ensure even service and timely turns.
Support the guest experience by communicating wait times, special requests, and dietary needs to the team.
Answer phones professionallyhandling inquiries, to-go orders, and large party bookings with care.
Stay organized at the host stand with menus, reservation notes, and a clean, professional setup.
Assist with to-go orders, including accurate entry, payment, packaging, and presentation.
Keep the entryway and front area clean and welcoming throughout service.
Work collaboratively with service staffrunning food, clearing tables, or checking bathrooms when needed.
Stay informed on the menu, allergies, and guest preferences, sharing knowledge confidently when asked.
Close out end-of-day tasks like logging sales/tips and assisting with cash drop accuracy.
Youre a Great Fit If You:
Have strong people skills and a naturally welcoming presence
Can multitask in a fast-paced environment
Are familiar with (or quick to learn) OpenTable and POS systems
Have a working knowledge of food/wine or are excited to learn
Show up on time, in uniform, and ready to be part of a team
Bonus points if you speak more than one language, are detail-oriented, or have prior experience in a front-of-house restaurant role.
