Marc Rose and Med Abrous, the founders of Call Mom, are the co-owners of The Spare Room, Winsome, Genghis Cohen and La Dolce Vita in Los Angeles, CA. All four properties are unique in concept; each feature personal, unexpected details that make for a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience.

Most recently Call Mom has branched out to operate all the food and beverage outlets at the Graduate Seattle, Graduate Nashville and Graduate Roosevelt Island.

The growing hospitality group is currently seeking a Head Bartender for The Spare Room, the group's acclaimed cocktail bar in the storied Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Job Overview:

The Head Bartender is responsible for curating the bar program, including cocktail creation and product selections. The Head Bartender will train the staff accordingly. Successful candidates should expect to work bar shifts and participate in day-to-day management of the team.

Other Responsibilities Will Include:

- On-boarding and on-the-job training of the bar team - Welcome and care for guest needs in a warm, friendly and professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menus, brand selections, and required service techniques - Work collaboratively with ownership to design house cocktails that are balanced and innovative - Properly manage a cash bank in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain stock and supplies, as well as assist in inventories and ordering
- Complete knowledge of all bar equipment and maintenance - Ensure the cleanliness of work areas before, during and after service
- Maintain a well-organized and fully stocked bar - Handle all guest service needs in an immediate and professional manner - Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors - In collaboration with PR / Marketing for the restaurant and hotel, actively find ways to market our brand and program while also periodically representing the venues at trade events and through PR opportunities as they present themselves
-Actively participate in the international cocktail community and attend events and conferences in order to further spread the messaging for the brand.
Must have Food Handler's Card and RBS Certification.

Compensation: Hourly ($23.00 - $27.00) plus tips
