Industrial Custodian

Industrial custodian needed for a manufacturing company in Jonesville. This is a temp to direct opporutnity starting at $17.00 per hour.

Industrial Custodian Details:

Temp-to-Hire position

$17.00 /hour

Full Time work available

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:00pm)

Cleaning offices, bathrooms, common areas.

Clean the chips out of the machinery and ensure that any trays of oil are drained.

Cleans the plant floor and the production equipment as per schedule.

Empties any necessary garbage in the plant.

Responsible for the collection, separation, and of recycling and ensuring that recycling areas are always in clean condition.

Responsible for wastewater storage

Responsible for maintaining the inventory of Janitor supplies and bringing forward any shortages to the supervisor for re-ordering.

Responsible for ensuring that all walkways and stairs are clear of snow and ice.

Assist in the cleanup of any spills as required.

Performs facility janitorial duties and miscellaneous duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Follow proper Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

Operate floor scrubber machine

Industrial Custodian Qualifications:

Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is required.

Ability to lift 50lbs and perform repetitive movements.

Comfortable using a floor scrubber machine.

Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Extremely detail-oriented.

Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Bending, twisting, reaching, grabbing, pushing, pulling, etc.
