M.C. Shine Cleaning & Restoration, a respected name in cleaning and restoration, is looking to hire a Custodial Technician to serve our clients in the areas between Clinton Township, MI, Macomb County, Mi & Port Huron, MI.
We are seeking individuals who are well-established in the community, polite, professional, and dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness.
Position: Custodial Technician
Job Type: Part-Time & Full Time Available. Flexible schedule to accommodate part-time employees.
Hiring between $14-$18/hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing.
- Utilize professional cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with restoration projects as needed (for those with restoration experience).
- Ability to work up to a 10 1/2 hour shift.
- Shift's vary from 1 day a week to 5 days a week.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in custodial and/or Professional Cleaning is not required; but a plus. Restoration experience is also a plus.
- Must be well-established in the community and have a polite and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Be able to adapt on the fly and be able to cover accounts as needed
- Must work well with other companies employees
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Must PASS a background check.
Preferred Qualities:
- Candidates with proven restoration experience will qualify for full-time opportunities.
- A strong connection to the local community and understanding of its unique needs.
