Janitor**
**Job Description**
The Janitor will be responsible for managing various types of waste within the building. This includes handling cardboard by operating the cardboard baler and moving bales as directed, managing metals by placing them in the proper dumpster, containing oils and placing them in appropriate containers following specific directions, and moving general trash from the plant floor to dumpsters.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a hi-lo to move bales of cardboard and other materials.
+ Maintain awareness of certain liquids such as oils and cleaning solvents, ensuring mindful storage as directed.
+ Handle trash removal efficiently, including lifting and placing the pump next to the station for shipping.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in janitorial duties including trash removal.
+ Ability to operate a forklift.
+ Understanding and experience with different materials such as oils, cleaning solvents, cardboard, and metals.
+ Physical ability to lift 40 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Gauge experience is preferred.

The work environment is a newly renovated plant in Warren, MI, featuring state-of-the-art equipment including CNC Machinist lines, conveyors, carousel assembly equipment, robotic weld cells, and machinery dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. The facility works with major automotive companies and is part of a global supplier network, fostering a motivated and collaborative team atmosphere. The janitor will work an 8-hour shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
