Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organized AM Restaurant Manager to oversee daily dining room operations, morning prep, and setup at One40 Rooftop. This role includes occasional PM shifts based on business needs. The AM Manager plays a key role in creating smooth service transitions, supporting staff, ensuring mise en place is executed with precision, and maintaining elevated guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dining Room Oversight: Supervise FOH operations during breakfast, brunch, and lunch; ensure excellent service standards are upheld.

  • Opening Duties & Setup: Oversee restaurant setup, ensure team is prepped and aligned before service, and address any morning operational gaps.

  • Staff Support & Leadership: Lead and coach hosts, servers, and support staff. Maintain a calm, communicative presence on the floor.

  • Hiring & Reviews: Manage Indeed postings, screen applications, and schedule interviews in coordination with leadership.

  • Ordering & Inventory: Work with BOH to track daily inventory, place AM orders for FOH needs, and ensure proper par levels are maintained.

  • Scheduling: Collaborate with other managers to create weekly schedules that meet labor targets and business needs.

  • Guest Experience: Anticipate guest needs, manage VIPs, resolve service issues with grace and discretion.

  • Collaboration: Communicate closely with PM managers and kitchen team to ensure seamless shift transitions and a consistent guest experience.

Ideal Candidate:
  • 4 plus years of management experience in upscale or high-volume dining

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Knowledge of restaurant prep, flow of service, and FOH ordering

  • Tech-savvy (experience with POS, scheduling platforms, Indeed, etc.)

  • Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail

  • A calm problem-solver who leads by example

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus health benefits, dining perks, and growth opportunities.

Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $70,000.00)
