3rd Shift Deck Oven Baker

A family-owned wholesale artisan bread bakery serving restaurants and grocers across Metro Cleveland is looking for a skilled 3rd Shift Deck Oven Baker to join our team. If you have real bread baking experience in a commercial environment and are looking for consistent, full-time overnight work, we'd love to hear from you. Your experience must include baking bread in a deck oven, shaping dough, and proofing dough.

Benefits & Perks:

Pay: $19-21/yr

Shift: 7:30pm - 3:30am; with 2 off nights on Saturday and either Monday or Tuesday night

What You'll Do:

Proof, score, and bake a variety of artisan breads

Shape dough alongside a team at the shaping table

Operate commercial baking equipment including Revent double rack ovens or deck ovens

Ensure food surfaces and baking equipment meet all health and safety standards. Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools.

Helping pack and/or slice bread.

What you need to be successful:

Previous experience as a deck oven baker.

High school degree or equivalent.

Legally able to work in USA

Able to work third shift hours in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and on individual tasks.

Physically able to move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift.

Knowledge of sanitation procedures, and state health and safety precautions and regulations
