Wage + Tips: $30-32/hr
Eligible for health insurance after 90 days of full-time employment

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
4+ years of experience
Wok experienced preferred
High volume experience
Proficient knife skills
JOB SUMMARY:
This is a full time position that reports to the sous chef and CDC. Line cooks are required to set up, stock, perform prep responsibilities, and prepare dishes as per the kitchen standards. As a high volume kitchen, consistency and integrity are invaluable to our success, a willingness to learn andmunicate with our tight-knit team is also crucial. Opening and closing tasks are to be followed according to restaurant standards. As per Oregon Law, a 30 minute break, is part of the daily shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required to reset and restock the line during lunch and dinner transition.
Perform minor prep projects, including fine knife work projects.
Provides a pleasant dining experience to the customer.
Serves plates by reviewing recipes; assembling,bining, and cooking ingredients up to the restaurant standards; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen.
Attends to the detail and presentation of each order.
Follows proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Ensures kitchen operation standards are followed including: cleaning,anization, and teamwork.
Personal hygiene and ability and knowledge on how to safely handle food according with food handler guidelines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Consistently required to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, grasp and lift heavy pots, pans, fryer baskets, and various kitchen containers.
Required to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
Expected to cook in a very high volume kitchen w lifting and tossing are repetitive and constant activities.
Expected to perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, wiping.
Reasonable amodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential requirements.
SCHEDULE:
Required to work weekends and holidays except July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve/Day
