What Youll Be Doing

As a Barista/Cook at Roma Coffee, youll wear multiple hats and play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences to our customers. Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and serving a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks with precision and care.

- Cooking and assembling simple, delicious menu items to delight our guests.

- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, from the coffee bar to the kitchen.

- Providing friendly, attentive customer service that keeps people coming back.

- Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

What Were Looking For

Were searching for someone who brings both skill and enthusiasm to the table. Heres what youll need to succeed in this role:

- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (barista, cook, or both).

- Skills: A knack for multitasking and staying cool under pressure.

We are a Family owned and operated business with two locations and around 30 employees. Ours is a very professional yet relaxed environment however we have very busy hours with very busy rushes so please; Don't apply if you are afraid of hard work!!!

We are located in conservative neighborhoods, and the average age of our customers is around 50 so unfortunately, we do not allow face/neck tattoos or facial piercings. Casual yet professional attire is required at all times.

Everyone starts at $12. New Trainees will be eligible for credit card tips once they are fully trained on one of the two positions we have in the shop. Front of the house, Barista and cashier duties and back of the house, Food prep, dishes and lobby duties. Once both positions are mastered full tips will be obtained. This can usually be achieved in short order by a new hire with experience in the field. Bonuses are offered over half of the time. A breakdown of how much these usually are as follows:

Credit Card tips - Usually $4.50 to $5.50 per hour

Cash tips - Usually around $1 per hour

Bonuses - Between $1 and $2 per hour
