We are looking for Sommeliers/Servers that are ambitious about taking their game and ours to the next level and have a strong foundation in wine and service knowledge.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own all of the service of wine and food in your respective section, from order taking, to clearing, and asking for help when needed.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the wine by-the-glass list.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of our full wine list, being able to talk about multiple sections and pages, upsell, and contextualize wines against one another to best help a guest quickly make a favorable selection.
  • Assist in maintaining orderliness of the wine cellar, wine lists, and wine program in general. This includes and is not limited to: putting new wine arrivals away, logging locations, invoice communication, changing bin locations, performing a monthly physical inventory.
  • Assist at the door in welcoming guests and updating Resy accurately and as needed.
  • Stay observant during service of your co-workers and help out your team.
  • Assist with polishing/distribution of clean glassware, flatware and silverware.
  • Supporting management in mentoring and training new hires.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proficient level of wine knowledge, WSET/CMS or similar qualification encouraged but not required.
  • You demonstrate a hunger to learn and are hardworking.
  • You are deeply curious about everything related to food & wine, and are enthusiastic about building your knowledge around service.
  • You are a team player and are always looking for ways to support and help your team members
  • You are a fast learner and are passionate about people and community
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs and go up and down stairs.
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
