Who We Are Looking for and What You Will Do as a USANA Equipment Maintenance Technician
We are looking for an experienced, and knowledgeable individual to join the maintenance department as an equipment maintenance technician. In this position, you will perform hands-on maintenance and repair work across HVAC systems, manufacturing and packaging equipment, shipping machinery, and general facility infrastructure. This is a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on the HVAC system
- Calibrate sensitive equipment, including thermometers, scales, etc.
- Maintain and repair manufacturing, packaging, and shipping equipment
- Maintain computerized maintenance records
- Identify and maintain inventory of critical components, including parts, fluids, etc.
- Complete general maintenance projects, including painting, welding, etc.
- Train maintenance technicians in the maintenance and repair of all facility and production equipment
- Train employees in troubleshooting skills on production/packaging equipment
- Be able to supervise the tableting process in the absence of the lead technician
- Be able to set up, operate, and supervise a special packaging line (such as Pillow pack) as required
What You Will Need
- Five years' experience or specific training in the maintenance and repair of all facility and production equipment
- Must have previous electrical experience in basic wiring
- Must have working knowledge of mechanical experience in plumbing, heating, and AC
- Must have basic mechanical skills
- Must have attended and shown comprehension in PLC programming classes/courses
- The ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds is required
