JOB SUMMARY: The primary function of the Building Maintenance/Janitor is the general maintenance and cleaning of Building and outside lot. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean all exposed filing cabinets, bookcases, shelves Clean and sanitize telephones Clean and sanitize desk tops Clean reception lobby Empty all waste receptacles & replace liners as needed including shop. Vacuum all carpeted areas Clean, sanitize, polish all vitreous fixtures Clean all glass and mirrors Refill all dispensers to normal limits Sweep, damp mop, and sanitize hard floor Clean and sanitize all sinks and sink fixtures Remove dust and cobwebs from ceiling areas and window seals Keep kitchens clean including microwaves and coffee pots Once a month clean exterior and interior windows Pressure wash building as needed Building maintenance as needed (light bulbs, paint touch ups, etc.) Keep parking area and landscaping free of debris When not cleaning, maintenance person will be back up for the shipping and receiving department as well as running errands for the Service Department QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Excellent organization and communication skills Computer literate Clearly legible handwriting. Experience in Janitorial and general maintenance work.
