Monday - Friday Grave Shifts - (20 hours a week) 9:30pm-1:30am - Downtown Salt Lake City Compensation: $19.50/hr +$1.50 Swing Shift differential Must be willing to work rotating weekends (every 7th Saturday), and events and holidays as scheduled This is a part-time position without medical benefits **Please Note: This position does not qualify for students required to work on the Ensign College Campus.** May require a valid driver's license. May be required to pass a criminal background check Responsibilities Here's what You'll do on a Standard day of work: Perform self-directed work, under minimal direction, while handling sophisticated issues We need hardworking individuals who can independently lift and position objects weighing as much as 50 pounds. You will also need to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, push, pull, twist, bend, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods of time. We need people who can work alone without constant supervision but can also strengthen their teams. Our work involves various cleaning solvents and chemicals, and we need employees who will align with all regulations associated with the safe handling of chemicals, and can work in damp, dusty, and/or dirty areas. Our employees must be able to read, comprehend, and communicate in English for video training, building security, and safety purposes, including asking clarifying questions as needed. This position may assist in providing leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring other employees. This is an intermediate, individual contributor position. At any point you may need to assist leaders and your team with their workload including: Remove leaves or snow, help with special events, emergency cleanups including floods, bodily fluids, spills, or other manual labor duties. Sanitize public areas, offices, and restrooms. Dust or polish furnishings, light fixtures, windowsills, wood paneling, mirrors, air vents, etc. Spot clean carpets, rugs, and upholstery, restock supplies, and dispose of trash, waste, and other materials. Restock supplies, and move furniture, supplies and miscellaneous equipment. Report safety or security issues and needed repairs as needed. Operate mechanized cleaning equipment, vacuums, buffers, large scrubbers and sweepers, and extraction equipment, balers, shredders, aerial lifts, and forklifts. All other duties and meetings as assigned. Qualifications What will make You Successful in this Job? 2 years or more of previous related work experience is preferred. Experience with project work or executive cleaning preferred. Flexibility with time, schedule, and locations to work in (locations will change depending on the day) Willing to certify in the use of any needed equipment including sweepers, buffers, lifts, carpet cleaning machinery, high rise power washers, etc. Able to work from ladders, scaffolds, and mechanical lifts for extended periods of time. May be required to work outside during all seasons, temperatures, and types of weather. Please note this position may require working in damp, dusty, and/or dirty areas. May require work with various cleaning solvents and chemicals. WORTHINESS QUALIFICATION Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
