Job Title: Janitor Lead

Department: Base Operations

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Janitor Lead to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our janitorial staff. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong work ethic, responsible for ensuring all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and provide guidance to a team of janitors. Create and manage work schedules and assign daily tasks to ensure all areas are covered.

Quality Control & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure it meets established quality standards and safety protocols.

Supply & Equipment Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Submit requests for new supplies and ensure all equipment is in good working order.

General Maintenance & Cleaning: Assist with hands-on cleaning duties, particularly for more complex or challenging tasks. Report any major maintenance issues to management.

Desired Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a janitorial or custodial role, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.

Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with a team.

Certification: A valid driver's license may be required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand, walk, climb, and stoop for extended periods.

Requires the ability to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and work in various conditions.
