Banquet Server for Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch is a renowned farm-to-table restaurant nestled in the heart of Napa Valley. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service while creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help elevate the guest experience at our restaurant and wine bar.

We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Banquet Servers to join our events team. As a Part Time Banquet Server, you will play a key role in providing seamless service for weddings, private parties, corporate gatherings, and other special events held at Farmstead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful setting with a team that values professionalism, hospitality, and excellence. We have a busy season ahead and we are looking for Banquet Servers who can work both day and evenings, during the week and on weekends.

Responsibilities:

-Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decor according to event specifications
-Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to hospitality and safety standards
-Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious service to guests throughout each event
-Collaborate with the kitchen and event management teams to ensure timely and coordinated service
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events
-Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines

Education, Experience and Required Skills:
-Prior experience in catering, banquet, or restaurant service required
-A passion for food, wine, and hospitality
-Food Handler's certification and RBS certification required
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs
-Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
-Punctuality is required
-Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedule
-Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Demands and Work Environment
-Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
-Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations
-Must be able to lift, balance, and carry plates of food
-Must be able to lift cases of wine on a daily basis
-Must be able to use both hands to handle, grasp, move and control objects, tools and equipment operations
-Must be able to bend or twist body
-Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
-Ability to transport equipment up to 40 pounds
-Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
-Must be able to work outside in varying temperature
-Must be able to work in rough and uneven terrain

Compensation and Benefits
-Part-time hourly position
-Compensation: $28 per hour
