Barley Swine is looking for an experienced server to join our small and mighty team. Please consider the criteria below prior to sending your resume to assess whether you would be a good fit for us. This position offers 3-4 shifts a week, applicants availability should be open Thursday through Sunday.
Potential Hires must have:
3-5 years professional fine dining experience
Solid work ethic with an emphasis on teamwork and hustle
Proficient knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits/cocktails
At least an Introductory level certification in Court of Master Sommeliers / WSET
Have a knack for presentation and efficient time management
Enjoys crafting unettable guest experiences
Must be excited to work with a small, tight knit team
A love for cooking at home and food in general
Must posses exemplarymunication skills
Updated TABC and food handlers certification
A little about us:
Barley Swine is a Texas farm to table restaurant. We source nearly all ingredients locally and make everything in house from scratch. Our Farm, River Field Farm, provides most of the produce featured on the menu.
Currently we are only offering our $115 tasting menu Thursday- Sunday.
We were awarded our first Michelin star in the inaugural Texas Michelin debut in November 2024. Executive chef / owner Bryce Gilmore, has also been nominated for several James Beard Awards for Best Chef Southwest / Texas.
Our FOH runs a tip pool structure. Expectpensation to range from $30 - $45 / Hr. +
We are an extremely team oriented, hands on crew working in a convivial fine dining atmosp with Austin flare and charisma.
